I just wanted to post this note from Camp Director – Wendi
This year we will be spending quality time together July 24-27 at Big Springs Campground which is located approx 16 miles North of Lava Hot Springs. I’ll send out directions/maps as we get closer to D-Day. This campground does not have flushing toilets or showers, we will be enjoying the toilets over a big ole hole in the ground in the middle of summer.. It will be GREAT!!!!! I’ve reserved 8 campsites that can accomodate either tents or trailers. One car per site, so any extra cars will have to pay $5 per day. If you’re not into “roughing it” in the great outdoors you can get a motel in Lava, but do so quickly as this is a very popular weekend and rooms could be scarse.
The campground has been paid for with the family fund(motel rooms are on your own bill) but you need to come prepared to contribute for the food. Meals will be Dinner Thursday thru breakfast on Sunday. If you don’t pay you can’t complain about the menu.
Also, as always come with an item/s for the Family Auction. This is how we pay for the next years reunion, so bring good stuff that I want to buy. Also bring money to buy the things that I don’t want. If you haven’t paid for your last years loot, please do so, this will make Terry very happy.
